The Newborn Studio is based in the Pearlridge Center - Wai Makai. We specialize in capturing that beauty and uniqueness in those memorable moments that reveal the personality of your precious newborn infant.

We specialize in unique infant portraiture. Unlike typical studios, we work directly with you, the parent, to customize your child’s portrait to capture their personality. You will work one-on-one with our expert photographer staff in curating the posing styles, background themes, and creative concepts.

Studio owner Jonathan Bello grew up on Oahu in the city of Waipahu.  After graduating high school, he pursued his passion working part time at a local photography studio.  After 15 years in the business, he opened his first  studio, Expressions Portrait Design, located in Pearlridge Center (Downtown).  He has expanded with a Windward Mall location and multi-seasonal locations at Kahala Mall & Kaneohe Marine Corps Base.

He continues to embody his mission statement with his staff & customers. ”Expressions Portrait Design is a full service photography studio.  Our focus is offering the island of Oahu outstanding customer service and an exceptional photography experience.  Through our customer service we plan to become a family friend, rather than a store employee.  In our profession, there is a lot of interpretation between “bad vs. good vs. great” pictures, but we will strive to deliver an exceptional quality product regardless of our own interpretation, by putting customer wants first.“

Jonathan is a happy husband and a proud father of his 2 year old son.  His latest venture is the Newborn Studio located in Waipio Gentry.  A studio dedicated to quality and  providing a  memorable lifetime experience for families with newborn infants.
